I resonated with much of what you said. I am from Canada and I can say it's a little bit better over here in terms of health care. But I totally agree with you regarding passion work vs. Paying the bills. I am yet to change my mindset about work. I worked in the non profit environment for over 5 years and it was passion but you described it perfectly " we are worked as much as we can with the least money they can give" and its understandable sometimes.
