Creating A Longform Life
The Good Life is first and foremost a personal blog. It is not a newsletter. These are not articles. I am not a journalist. I am a woman who was raised by the internet trying to use this space to have conversations with myself and others that mean something, but have felt too big or too nuanced or too expansive for the claustrophobic corridors of tweets and stories. On this blog, you will find personal essays and creative nonfiction pieces that attempt to make meaning of what it feels like to be alive at this moment.
I write to bear witness to the complexities of my own life, and I share with hope that the lessons I’ve learned find someone else at the exact moment they need them most. The Good Life is my answer to the questions: “what if we acted as if we love the future? What steps would we take to turn that dream into a reality?”
So come on in and take a seat. I’m so happy you’re here.
